Task 3

You are going to give a talk about your school. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and speak for not more than 2 minutes (10-12 sentences).

Remember to say:

•  what you like about your school most of all
• how many lessons a day you usually have
• what school subjects you have chosen for your exams, and why
• what your attitude to the number of subjects you have to learn is.

You have to talk continuously.

I’m going to give a talk about my school.

As all teenagers in the world I’m sometimes lazy and don’t want to go to school but there are some good things about it.  I love that I can meet my best friends there as we study at the same school. We can study together and help each other, then we go for a walk and have some fun. We have the same interests and a lot of topics to discuss.

My typical school day is busy. We usually have got more than 6 lessons every day. The most difficult day of the week for me is Monday as we have 7 lessons.

I have chosen two subjects for my exams this year. The first one is English as it’s one of my favourite subjects at school and, I think, I’m good at it. Also I’ve chosen Social science as I hope it won’t be difficult to pass.

In general, my attitude to to the number of subjects we have to learn is positive. I like a variety and want to be educated in different spheres. Next years I would rather be more focused on the subjects which may be useful for my future career.

I think that’s all that I wanted to tell you about my school.
