Remember that you have 40 seconds to answer each question.

Hello!

It’s an electronic assistant of a teen web.

We kindly ask you to take part in our survey.

We need to find out how teenagers feel about mobile phones.

Please answer 6 questions. The survey is anonymous – you don’t have to give your name.

So, let’s get started.

How old were you when you got your mobile phone?

I got my first mobile phone when I was 7 years old. I was happy.

What do you use your mobile phone for apart from talking?

I use my mobile for listening to music and chatting with my friends (in social networking sites). I sometimes use Skype to talk to my cousin (who lives far away).

Who do you usually send SMS to?

I send SMS to my friends, of course. Also I sometimes do it to inform my parents that I’ll come later than usual from school.

How can you use mobile phones to learn foreign languages?

There are a lot of apps to learn foreign languages (and English, of course). For example, every day one of these apps sends me a new word to learn (with the examples how to use it).

Where do you usually switch off your mobile phone?

I switch off my mobile phone at school during my lessons. It’s a strict rule. Also I turn it off when I’m in the cinema.

Why are most teachers against using mobile phones at schools?

Most teachers think that our mobile phones distract us from the learning process. Also they think that it’s easier to cheat during tests.
