• what your favorite holiday is and how you celebrate it;
• if you prefer to give presents or to get presents, and why
• what your attitude to holidays is

I’m going to give a talk about holidays.

The most popular holiday in our country is New Year’s Eve. I think all Russians celebrate it and, according to our tradition, families usually spend it together. Also Victory Day on May 9 is one of our favorite holidays.

Of course I love the New Year and the New Year holidays. I usually spend it with my family and friends. We have a huge festive dinner, then exchange presents, play games and if the weather is good enough we go for a walk.

I like presents a lot and like many people in the world I like to get presents more than give them. To be honest, I’m not good at choosing presents for my family members and friends. I usually spend a lot of time before holidays to buy something for them. For me it’s difficult to find out what people want to have as a present.

Obviously, I’ve got a positive attitude towards the holidays. I’m sure everybody loves holidays.

I think that’s all that I wanted to tell you about holidays in my country and my family.
