ЗАДАНИЕ:

You are going to give a talk about your career choice. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and will speak for not more than 2 minutes.

I’m going to give a talk about my career choice.

I assume that after finishing the 9th form there are not many job opportunities. It is possible to become a waiter or a delivery man, for example. If a graduate decides to continue studying, there is a big choice of colleges where we can get a profession. Also, having good results after the 9th form we are able to keep on studying at school and get higher education later.

I’m thinking about a career of an IT-specialist. This job is already popular as we all use the Internet. Also any business today is getting more connected with on-line selling and it is impossible to function without a good computer consultant or a web-designer. I think, being a decent computer specialist will give me a chance to earn my living and be satisfied with what I will be doing.

My parents give me a chance to decide what to do in the future by myself. When a told them about my plans to become an IT-specialist, they approved it. They think that it is a useful job which is also rather well paid. The only advice they have given me is to do what I love doing.

Definitely, I would like to build a successful career, so my attitude to building it is positive.
